Welcome to 4HOS, created 2024-11-07 by me!

I'm gonna call myself Unauth here, it's part of an old game username, so why not. I'm a guy, around 20 years old, studying Computer Engineering at a University, and have a real soft spot for romcoms (unrelated). Some of my hobbies include coding, hiking, playing the guitar, drawing, and tinkering with electronics. I'm a huge fan of open source, and I have an unhealthy adoration for early-mid 2000's computing technology.

I started writing code in the 3rd grade. Back then, it was Java on the school's Library PCs (enabled by the very nice IT guy at my school, thanks Mr. Liem!); they ran windows 7, it was great. I wouldn't say that I'm a great programmer, but I am pretty comfortable with almost all of the programming concepts I run in to these days, although graphics programming is the exception. Naturally, after graduating from High School, I applied to University with Computer Engineering in mind, and here I am today.

I'm not really sure what this website is to me. Maybe its philosophical, maybe its a shitpost, maybe its just something to point to on the internet and say "Hey, I grew up here, I existed!" I guess that only time will tell. At the moment, 4HOS is just a side project by an overstressed/underrested CE student, I call it constructive procrastination. Hopefully one day it'll be a place for my little projects and thoughts, ideas, blog entries, I don't know.. cool bugs I find? Maybe I'll add a 'cool bugs' page.

This website has been written entirely by hand in a text editor. If there is a mistake or a bug anywhere, it is most-definitely entirely my fault.
